Fantastic views of the natural harbour, insights into the Finnish burial culture, famous ancestors and events. I walked around the cemetery on Dec 25th 2023. There were many other people there, old people, parents and children. Walking, lighting candles for dead family. It is a good place to be and reflect on where we are.

Lovely place close to our home. We are walking there often and it's one of my favorite places in Helsinki. The beach, cemetery, and park are close to each other. They are all worth visiting. Especially I love this place in summer when I can relax on the bench or on the rocks in the park and enjoy a peaceful place.

"Ancient " cemetery park, calming walk is garanteed! Pros: Most of the Finnish selebrities and " big wings" are buried here. Wondeful location - city centure , close to sea and a park Cons The gravestones of the presidents ( Koivisto, Mr. Kekkonen, etc.) do not have flower beds. If the families for some reason cannot organize them, maybe the city of Helsinki could take on this wonderful responsibility?

The cemetery might not be the most cheerful place, but this one had not a touch of hopelessness. Beautiful and calm place.

Tranquil cemetery that is well kept. The most famous Finns have their last resting spot here. Interesting if you are interested in gardening and history.
